The underground garage is located behind the hotel, at Griesgasse 10. Your entry ticket is available to collect from the hotel reception. Unfortunatly, it is not possible to reserve a parking space as the car park is available for public use and we have no influence over the availability of spaces.
To unload your luggage, stop directly in front of the hotel and collect your car park entry ticket at the reception. Drive down to the traffic lights, turn right and then take the first street on your right. Our car park is on the left-hand side, directly opposite ‘Mangolds’ restaurant.
A small, but important tip: If you drive a little bit too far do not use the pedestrian zone to turn around because there is a traffic camera located there. Just stick it in reverse and roll back a few meters.

The official answer is “no”, because there is not always somebody available to park your car. But as we all know, there is always an exception to the rule. Just ask at the reception, perhaps it is your lucky day. This service costs €20 per day, incl. parking charges.
We offer free Internet access throughout the hotel, you don’t even need a password. To connect to the Internet from your room just connect your laptop using the cable and it will log on auto-matically. In the lobby you can work and browse the Internet using WLAN. And on the first floor there is a business terminal available for you to use (PC with Internet and printer).
No, you can surf to your heart’s content for free and you don’t need a password either.
You can use the gift vouchers in all three hotels (Wiesler, Weitzer and hotel daniel) and to pay for whatever you like – rooms, culinary treats from the ‘Speisesaal’, the ‘Steirer’, ‘Senf und Söhne’ or the ‘Vinofaktur’ (in-house wine and gift shop), something pretty from the ‘Blumeninsel’ florist or a trip out in the Weitzer Mercedes. It really is entirely up to you.
Children from 0 to 5 years and 364 days can stay for free, including breakfast. For children from 6 to 11 years and 364 days there is a charge of €19.50 and for children aged 12 years and over there is a charge of €39,00. Breakfast is not included in these prices and is charged at €15,00 per person, per night.
Yes, you are allowed to bring your pets. There is a charge of €8 per day for your four-legged friend (not including food). Please note that out of consideration towards our other guests, your pet may only come with you to breakfast, or to the restaurant, if it is on its very best behaviour.
The best way to get to and from the airport is using the bus route 630/631 direct to the hotel. The railway station can be reached quickly and easily with the number three or the number six tram, which both stop right in front of the station. If travelling with either the number one or the number seven tram, get off one stop before the station. The next tram stop to the hotel is called ‘Südtirolerplatz/Kunsthaus’, which is only about 70 paces away from the hotel.
We work closely with an external laundry service, which is available for you from Monday to Saturday. We are happy to take care of this for you.
You are welcome to come and really relax here at the Wiesler. Since May 2010 we now have a well-being oasis that is called just that. The ‘Oase’ offers a sauna, steam bath, outdoor area, fitness equipment and an Arabian tea room, it is open daily from 5.00 pm until 9.00 pm. If you want to enjoy our ‘Oase’ outside of this time it is no problem, just let us know at the reception. Bathrobes and towels are available in the ‘Oase’ and slippers can be purchased at the reception for €3,00.
The entire breakfast and restaurant area, as well as the lobby, ‘Senf und
Söhne’ and the barber’s are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted in the conservatory area in front of the ‘Goldener Engel’ room.
Since July 2011, all of our 97 rooms are non-smoking - for your and for our sake. For your post-pleasure cigarette (of course we think of your visit in the Speisesaal or at Alois' in his Senf und Soehne canteen) we have reserved a place in our conservatory area.

Guests from the world of music have included David Guetta, rapper Sido, Falco, Ludwig Hirsch, Konstantin Wecker, Rebekka Bakken and Marianne Faithfull. Among other famous guests were a Thai princess, including entourage, Arab oil sheiks, top football stars such as Galatasaray Istanbul and the Japanese national team, opera divas like Cecilia Bartoli, our very own president, Heinz Fischer and other high-ranking politicians, actors including Klaus Maria Brandauer and many more famous names from the creative scene.
Our guests are more important to us than anything else, including catalogues of criteria to be met. We want to be free to be and to do what gives us, and you, the most pleasure. And to do that, we don’t need any stars. Or at least that is what we think.
Yes, but only if you arrive before 4.00 pm. If you arrive any later we need your credit card so that we can keep your room for you, come what may. The exception to this rule is New Year’s Eve. On this occasion you either need to give us your credit card details or pay in full in ad-vance. A credit guarantee means that we only use your credit card to guarantee your booking and we won’t charge the full amount to your credit card as soon as you have completed your booking. Your bill is payable either when you check out or if you don’t arrive or don’t cancel in due time. In case of the latter we will bill you for your first ‘no-show’ night.
Your room is available for you from 2.00 pm on the day of your arrival. As a rule, you should check out by 12.00 pm but reservations permitting, on Sundays we turn a blind eye and extend the check out time.
IAt the Wiesler you can enjoy breakfast from 6.30 am until 11.00 am.
We are working on gradually renovating all of the rooms at the Wiesler. Air conditioning, flat screen televisions and free Internet are available in all rooms, which means that you never have to forego any of your usual home comforts.
